CATs CRADLE Preset Activity Period factory can be set to employers specifications.
Red LED on CAT mobile unit flashes at 5 second intervals indicating unit is in use and has time remaining in the Preset Activity Period.
CAT mobile unit has an audible warning that will sound 15 minutes before expiry of Preset Activity Period. The audible warning can be silenced and will sound again every 5 minutes until the CAT mobile unit is reset in stationary CRADLE.
Red LED on CAT mobile unit will begin flashing rapidly 15 minutes before the Preset Activity Period expires and continue until the CAT mobile unit is reset in the stationary CRADLE.
Inserting and removing the CAT mobile unit from the stationary CRADLE will reset the CAT mobile unit with the Preset Activity Period.
Resetting the CAT mobile unit can be done at any time during the Preset Activity Period restarting the Preset Activity Period.
The Preset Activity Period can only be changed by the factory.
If the CAT mobile unit is not reset in the stationary CRADLE before the expiry of the Preset Activity Period the employers on-site alarm system will be triggered to send a signal to monitoring personnel requesting follow-up by employer personnel. The alarm event can only be restored by returning the CAT mobile unit to the stationary CRADLE.
The employers on-site alarm system can not be armed if the CAT mobile unit has not been returned to its stationary CRADLE, this prevents employees from inadvertently taking the CAT mobile unit off-site when leaving.
The CATs CRADLE Working Alone System is provides a Compliance Log showing the following:

- When an employee on-site visit has been initiated (CAT removed from CRADLE for longer than 5 minutes).

- When the employee on-site visit has been completed (CAT returned to CRADLE for longer than 5 minutes).

The CATs CRADLE Working Alone Support System requires workers to carry its mobile CAT ‘pager style’ unit while on-site and periodically ‘check-in’ by resetting the mobile unit at the stationary CRADLE within the Preset Activity Period.

- Existing monitored alarm system with 3 zones available.

SPECIFICATIONS:

- 3 form C output relays for alarm, compliance and return to cradle.

- Stationary CRADLE dimensions: 15.5 cm x 9.3 cm x 3.25 cm

- CAT mobile unit dimensions: 13.5 cm x 6.5 cm x 3.25 cm (including belt clip)

- CAT mobile unit requires 9V battery, recommended to be changed every 6 months.

If the worker does not reset the CAT mobile unit within the Preset Activity Period the system sends a signal via the employers existing alarm system to their monitoring facility advising that there is a incident with the CATs CRADLE Working Alone Support System, indicating there may be a worker in distress. The system allows the CAT mobile unit to be reset as many times as necessary during the workers on-site visit.
