Orion Security Systems Ltd. FBI_to_Honeywell_Multiplex_Translation

Changes in telecommunications with respect to analogue phone lines will be occurring. The existing security and fire transmitters are dependent on analogue telephone lines and will need to be replaced. The intrusion systems installed using FBI alarm controls will need to be converted to Honeywell FBP 128/250 along with the matching keypads. In order to facilitate an easy transition Orion Security Systems Ltd. has developed the FBI to Honeywell Multiplex Translation Board. This will provide the ability of the Honeywell Vista to communicate with existing FBI field multiplex wiring and devices to connect directly with the new equipment. This will offer a major savings in both time and equipment to complete this transition.

The FBI to Honeywell Multiplex Translation Board provides multiplex field wiring to connect through the converter / translator and to the Honeywell Vista providing seamless operation without requiring re-wiring. This does not restrict new Honeywell multiplex devices from being connected directly to multiplex Vista.

While it is possible to simply add a radio transmitter from other providers Honeywell Vista panel would provide the ability for the interrogation of panel logs and remote programming as currently provided.
