Orion Security Systems Ltd. - was incorporated in British Columbia in January 1984 as a security company specializing in the design, installation and monitoring of security and fire systems fo BC School Districts. Our client base also includes Industrial, Commercial & Biomedical Companies. Since conception we have served on the Attorney General's task force for model legislation guidelines to assist municipalities in drafting false alarm by-laws: Canadian Alarm and Security Association National Education Committee as well as the BC Trade Advisory Committee for Education Standards of Security Alarm TQ. We are members of the Canadian Alarm Association and we currently serve on the BCIT Security Alarm Course Advisory Committee. We are ULC listed for Fire alarm Monitoring and can provide certificate service if required. Please review listing document showing our shared ULC listing with APS monitoring station.
In addition to fire and security services we also provide video surveillance and recording, multi site access control over client networks and specialized de-multiplexing equipment for the integration of security technology with building HVAC and lighting systems. We also have a proprietary Work Alone System designed, assembled and monitored by Orion.
Orion Security Systems Ltd. - provides a retail outlet for individuals wishing to provide their own installation as well as technical catalogue sales to institutions throughout BC.
All of our installers are trades qualified and Orion Security Systems Ltd. is in full compliance with all regulatory bodies and current with WorksafeBC. We are fully insured and carry a separate ten million dollar Errors and Omissions policy.
